Post #4: Persuasive Blog Post

There is a blog for Microsoft referring to scammers. This is an important topic because technology is such a big deal and everyone uses it. Microsoft is informing technology users to be careful and tips/hints on how you know a scammer is trying to influence you and ways to avoid getting scammed. The company is actually taking action themselves against scammers and protecting their on customers. Also, they are persuading users not to fall for false advertisements from the scammers that leads to viruses on your computer. Scamming has been going on for years but it is becoming more rapid. The use of social media is constantly increasing and it is allowing scammers to gather even more personal data. There are services they have if you have been a victim of being scammed and they provide actions you can take to stop it from happening again in the future.

  1. Good choice; interesting to read. Some readers may be skeptical because this is coming from Microsoft though. Address persuasive strategies a bit more.
